Hourly & day-use hotels in Uzbekistan — book by the hour

Uzbekistan welcomed roughly 8 million international tourists in 2024, with the country adding hundreds of new hotels and hostels to keep up. HourUse plugs into that supply at the room level — releasing rooms hotels would otherwise sit empty for short blocks of three, six, or nine hours, or as last-minute overnight deals.

Frequently asked questions

Are hourly hotels legal in Uzbekistan?
Yes. Uzbek hospitality law treats short-block "day-use" rentals the same as overnight stays for tax and registration purposes. Most international and domestic chains in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara now sell day-use rates openly.
How short can a day-use block be?
On HourUse, the minimum block is three hours. Six and nine-hour blocks are also offered, and hotels set their own start-time windows (typically 9:00–11:00 to 20:00–23:00).
Do I need to register with the police as a foreign guest?
For overnight stays, hotels handle the OVIR registration on your behalf. For day-use blocks under 24 hours, registration is generally not required, but always confirm at check-in.
Which currencies can I pay with?
Most hotels accept Uzbek so'm, USD, EUR and Russian rubles. HourUse displays prices in any of those four currencies — the in-app setting changes both the carousel and map labels.
